Due to the on‑site requirements of this position, applicants are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated work location (Chelmsford, MA). This role does not offer relocation.
Job Summary
You'll own test automation for our cloud-native healthcare applications — strategy, frameworks, CI/CD integration, and coverage — for products clinicians and patients depend on daily.
We're modernizing: more managed AWS services, more cloud-native architecture, ongoing legacy migration. You'll test both new services and evolving production systems.
You'll join a small scrum team on Device Management and Readiness (3 engineers, 2 QA, growing), backed by a larger org for platform, security, and shared services.
How we work
Small, autonomous teams that own their services.
Strong SRE and automation keep production quiet; you pitch in when it's genuinely needed.
Real input into where test automation and quality practices go next.
Agile, low ceremony.
AI-assisted development is standard, but you own architecture, quality, security, and production outcomes.
Our stack
Backend: C#/.NET, REST APIs, event-driven microservices.
Cloud: AWS (ECS, Bedrock, Keyspaces, CloudWatch).
Data/messaging: SQL Server, Amazon Keyspaces, RabbitMQ, SNS.
Frontend: Vue.js, Kendo UI, TypeScript.
Infra/delivery: Terraform, Docker, TeamCity, Bitbucket.
Testing/observability: Playwright, Selenium, xUnit, CloudWatch, Coralogix, Orca Security.
What you'll do
Build and own automated test frameworks and suites (UI, API, integration, end-to-end) for cloud-native, event-driven systems.
Drive test strategy: architecture, CI/CD integration, reporting.
Embed automated testing into the dev lifecycle to shorten feedback loops.
Work with product, design, QA, SRE, and engineering to ship reliable features.
Review code/coverage and mentor teammates on quality and testing practices.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a professional application development environment preferred
2-3 years healthcare technology experience preferred
Experience with testing Mobile applications using automated techniques preferred
