This position provides comprehensive cardiology services across outpatient clinic care, procedures, and inpatient call coverage. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing adult cardiology patients, performing cardiology procedures, interpreting nuclear studies and echocardiograms, and participating in a scheduled call rotation. Candidates with CT board certification are preferred but not required. This is a full-time coverage opportunity with an ongoing contract and the potential for continued assignment. About the Facility This opportunity is located within an acute care hospital setting with a 150-bed facility. The cardiology department includes one full-time physician and provides both clinic-based care and procedural services. The cardiology team is supported by advanced practice providers and works collaboratively with interventional cardiology when general cardiology coverage is provided. Travel expenses reimbursed, including: Mileage Rental car Hotel Flight Malpractice Covered Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general cardiology care in clinic and hospital settings. Evaluate and manage adult cardiology patients. Perform cardiology procedures and diagnostic services. Interpret nuclear cardiology studies and stress tests. Perform and interpret echocardiograms, including TEE. Manage cardioversions and echo monitoring. Provide inpatient call coverage, including nights and weekends. Participate in scheduled rounding responsibilities during call periods. Collaborate with APPs, interventional cardiologists, and hospital teams. Deliver high-quality patient-centered cardiology care. Qualifications Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology. Must be nuclear boarded. Must be echo boarded. CT board certification preferred but not required. Active Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC accepted only). DEA registration required. Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience required. Candidates with a clean credentialing file may qualify for temporary privileges. Credentialing timeframe: Temporary privileges available with a clean file.
