Responsibilities:- Technical Skills/Knowledge/Supervision
- Coordinates, plans, organizes, and monitors the work of the laboratory.
- Documents results and applicable information.
- Assures adequate training of staff and staffing levels.
- Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
- Maintains work area.
- Performs and/or gives supervision for laboratory collection and processing procedures.
- Assists manager with the budget.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.
- Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
Experience
- 5 years of experience as MT/MLS/CLS/HTL
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation
- Registered MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent.
Compensation/Benefits
- $31.31-$51.14/hr depending on previous work experience.
