Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Pay Range: $29 - $31
Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday
What's the Job?
- Install, setup, clean, and repair packaging line equipment such as shrink-wrap lines, conveyors, and tapers.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair systems using electrical, mechanical, and processing skills.
- Maintain production efficiency and quality by diagnosing equipment problems and identifying root causes.
- Make effective repairs and adjustments to equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Setup and changeover all packaging line equipment efficiently to ensure smooth startup and operation.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate packaging line and related equipment including startup, adjustments, and shutdown procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
