Diesel or Auto Technician

F&F Transport is actively hiring Diesel and Auto Technicians . Applicants with light-duty and heavy-duty equipment repair and preventative maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on your knowledge, experience, and certifications. Starting pay ranges from $20 - $30/hour . We also offer a comprehensive benefits package with company match 401(k)!

Based in Fonda, New York, F&F Transport, Inc. was founded in 1995 to support the transportation needs of Keymark Corp. of Fonda, NY, Lakeland, FL, and Kasson & Keller of Fonda, NY.

We have a dedicated fleet of brand-new Kenworth Tractors and new aluminum flatbed and dry van air-ride suspension trailers, and we're in-house to ensure on-time delivery.

General Scope of Technician Responsibilities:

• Tire repairs and changes
• Balancing
• Brake services
• Tune-ups
• Diagnostic experience
• Engine repairs
• Electrical diagnostics
• Suspension diagnostics and repair

Required Tools & Minimum Knowledge:

• Must have all of the basic hand tools, air tools, up to 1/2" impact sockets
• Experience with ratchets, sockets, and screwdrivers (both metric and SAE)
• Familiarity with a test light and digital multimeter
• Adequate storage for tools

Requirements:

Proficient in using all of the tools as well as light auto repair. Please let us know if you hold any certifications (ASE Certification, etc.).
