A sophisticated midsize law firm is seeking a 2nd–5th year Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing Real Estate practice in Boston or Worcester.

The firm offers high-level middle-market work, direct partner access, meaningful client responsibility, and a realistic path to partnership within a collaborative environment.

The Opportunity

The Real Estate Group continues to experience strong growth and handles a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate matters. The incoming associate will gain exposure across multiple areas of the practice rather than being narrowly siloed.

Work may include:

Commercial acquisitions and dispositions
Real estate development
Commercial leasing
Land use and zoning
Permitting
Housing development
Development approvals and board matters
General commercial real estate transactions

Base Salary: approximately $140,000–$225,000+, depending on experience and sophistication of practice
Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours annually
Up to 60 hours of pro bono credit
Performance-based bonus opportunity, with associates meeting expectations generally earning approximately $30,000–$60,000, with additional upside for high performers

Job Details

Ideal Background
2–5 years of commercial real estate experience
Strong transactional foundation
Experience with acquisitions and dispositions preferred
Exposure to development, permitting, land use, zoning, leasing, or related matters is highly attractive
Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skills
Candidates from boutiques, midsize firms, and larger law firms will be considered
Massachusetts Bar admission preferred
