Full job description
What you'll do:
Technical & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other digital tools.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, valve drawings, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate logs of parts used, time spent, and job status updates.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and supervisors to provide updates and technical explanations.
- Follow all company safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space guidelines, and jobsite safety rules.
- Use proper PPE and ensure safe operation of tools, hoisting equipment, and test instruments.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and job hazard analyses.
Safety & Compliance Responsibilities:
What you bring:
- 2+ years of experience working with valves or actuators (electric and/or pneumatic) preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, low-voltage electrical circuits, and industrial equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to use multimeters, torque tools, hand tools, and calibration equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable traveling to job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including confined spaces, elevated platforms, and variable weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periods.
