Adult Endocrinologist

UPMC Central Pa | South Central Pennsylvania

Position Highlights

  • Practice Focus: Comprehensive outpatient endocrinology practice specializing in diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and menopause management
  • Outpatient Lifestyle: Primarily outpatient practice with consultative support for inpatient endocrine care

Opportunity

Join a growing endocrinology team within UPMC Central Pa and play an integral role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting
  • Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team
  • Caring for patients with diabetes utilizing advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices
  • Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures
  • Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
  • Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives
  • Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply
