Canobie Lake Veterinary Hospital has been named the Best Veterinary Hospital in North America for 2024-2025 by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which accredits companion animal veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. This award was granted after a thorough evaluation against over 900 standards of veterinary excellence.  Our full-service small animal practice provides general medicine, surgery, and dentistry for dogs, cats, avian species, and exotics across three locations in Southern New Hampshire. We focus on efficiency and expertise, treating clients with honesty, kindness, and compassion. Education for clients and staff is essential to our high standard of care, and we value everyone’s input in achieving our vision. 

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology—including a paperless record system, digital radiography, and a full-service in-house lab—we emphasize nutrition, preventive care, and thorough diagnostics. With a doctor-to-staff ratio of 1:7, our highly trained staff supports our veterinarians in providing excellent care.

Located just 40 minutes from Boston, Windham offers a mix of rural and urban living with easy access to outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. • This Externship is paid at $15 per hour

• Must be an Active 3rd-4th year Veterinary Student from an AVMA-accredited institution.
