Lead Estimator

MasTec is seeking a Lead Estimator to drive estimating efforts for complex utility and energy infrastructure projects across power delivery, oil and gas, renewables, and communications. In this role, you will analyze plans and specifications, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and develop accurate, competitive cost estimates and bids. You will collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and field teams to assess constructability, schedule, and risk, while ensuring alignment with MasTec’s strict safety and quality standards. The Lead Estimator will mentor junior estimators, refine estimating tools and databases, and present recommendations to leadership.
