Special Ed. Teacher

Special Education Teacher position for a 36-week contract in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The role supports students with special needs by delivering individualized instruction and managing classroom dynamics. The teacher will contribute to student growth while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for students

• Deliver engaging instructional sessions tailored to diverse learning needs

• Assess student progress and adjust strategies accordingly

• Collaborate with parents, therapists, and specialists to support student success

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities

• Adapt classroom environment to accommodate physical and learning requirements

Qualifications:

• One year of experience in special education

• Demonstrated teaching and classroom management skills

• Valid teaching license for South Carolina

• Completed required background checks

• Strong communication and adaptability skills

• Ability to lift or move within the classroom environment as needed
