Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Description:

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Day Habilitation team. The SLP will provide assessment, treatment planning, consultation, and training to support adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and other developmental disabilities. This role collaborates closely with individuals served, families, clinical professionals, and direct support staff to promote communication, independence, and meaningful participation in daily life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that support communication, skill development, and independence.

• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions to meet individual needs and goals.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community providers to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.

• Provide consultation, coaching, and training to direct support staff on communication strategies and best practices.

• Support program participants through ongoing clinical guidance, recommendations, and service planning.

• Maintain documentation and deliver services in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Health Professions as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals served, families, staff, and community partners.

• Commitment to person-centered services and supporting individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Pay Range:

$36.72 - $36.72
