Full job description
Position Summary
Ensure spray and/or necker machines are operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications.
Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
Assist with operation of spray and/or necker equipment while maintaining quality standards.
Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan.
Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs).
Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Spray/Necker Specialist with repair of defective parts.
Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production.
Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar).
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
Self-motivated with high attention to detail preferred.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
