Monday ‐ Friday, 8 am ‐ 5 pm ‐‐ 9‐hour shifts
36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage per week
15 ‐ 18 patients per shift
Outpatient focus ‐‐ 70% oncology, 30% hematology (primarily benign)
Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
Call rotation every 4th or 5th week ‐‐ one full week at a time
100% consultant role ‐‐ no direct admissions
