PM shift -- 3 pm to 1 am
20 - 25 ICU patients per provider daily on trauma service
Level II Trauma Center
Surgical assist not required -- trauma APPs do not assist surgeons
ATLS and ACLS certifications required
Procedures required -- laceration repair, chest tube removal, arterial line insertion
Additional skills -- debridement, drain removal, fracture reductions, burn management
Few to zero pediatric patients on service
