Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves providing specialized radiology services within a fast-paced, acute care setting. The successful candidate will have Level I Trauma experience and be involved in a variety of procedures including neuro, endovascular, and general cases, with a focus on interventional radiology.
Job Details
Location: 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, Arizona license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, willing to wait for license submission
Certifications: Valid BLS, ARRT (R)
Experience: 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related field
Unit: Interventional Radiology with 2 general IR suites, 1 Spine IR room, and 2 neuro endo suites
Cases Per Day: 5-10 procedures including GI/GJ tubes, ports, angio s, lumbar punctures, myelograms, neph tubes, stents, IVC filters, blood patches, embolizations, stent placements, stroke treatments, and neuro procedures
Floats: None outside of Radiology
Orientation: Philips Allera, Medrad injector
EMR System: Cerner, DICOM (PACS)
Shift Notes: 10-hour days with possible weekend work, limited call requirement, hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment
Position Notes: Level I Trauma experience required; candidate must have neuro or endovascular experience, with flexibility for other specialties; scrub experience preferred.
