Full job description
Our client, a leader in manufacturing support within the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be an integral part of the production support team, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay Range: $28.74/hr
Shift: 2nd shift (4 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday - Thursday)
What's the Job?
- Provide production support in a clean room environment, responding to escalations from Operations such as scrap, process questions, and equipment issues.
- Build SME-level knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices, supporting Operations in coaching assemblers.
- Investigate scrap generated throughout the shift, understanding root causes through dissection and observation/discussion with assemblers.
- Offer data-driven and evidence-based feedback and coaching to assemblers on scrap reduction.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and documentation as required, proactively monitoring line performance and driving immediate corrections or escalations.
