This local CDL A yard and shuttle driver role is based in Bolingbrook, Illinois, and pays $32 per hour. You will move trailers between nearby facilities, complete yard moves, and spot trailers in a no-touch operation. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a consistent local assignment with dedicated support from the TransForce team.

Pay & Schedule

  • $32 per hour
  • Estimated weekly gross of $1600
  • Monday through Friday
  • 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
  • Local work in Bolingbrook, Illinois

What You'll Be Doing

  • Shuttle trailers between a cross dock and a parts distribution center.
  • Move, spot, and stage trailers in the yard.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
  • Operate safely in tight yard and dock areas.
  • Communicate with dispatch, yard personnel, and warehouse teams.
  • Position and secure trailers for loading and unloading.

What You Need

  • Valid CDL A
  • 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
