As part of our Division of Hospital Medicine, youll have the unique opportunity to mentor and guide the next generation of healthcare professionalsincluding Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Whether youre looking to refine your clinical expertise, dive into cutting-edge research, or leave your mark on medical education, this role provides the ideal platform for academic excellence.

In addition to this roles clinical effort, one potential 0.25 FTE leadership opportunity is available to explore: Associate Program Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Scholarly Activity. This is a key educational leader within the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix.

Preferred Candidates

* Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine

* Experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment

* A passion for academic work, including teaching, quality improvement, and innovation

* Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within healthcare
