Litigation Associate - Commercial and Transportation

About the Opportunity:

Well established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Birmingham office. This role focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on transportation-related matters, offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-exposure cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and support commercial and transportation litigation matters
• Draft and argue:
  • Motions
  • Pleadings
  • Legal memoranda
• Conduct depositions and manage discovery
• Assist with case strategy and trial preparation
• Work with clients in the transportation and logistics sectors

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Top 25% academic credentials required
• 3–6 years of litigation experience
• Experience with commercial litigation and transportation-related matters
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
• Alabama license in good standing
