Job Description Summary

‎ 

Certified Medical Assistant – Full Time (Primary Care Clinic)

Location: 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA 30033

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional Saturdays)

Pay: $29/hr

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 Paid Holidays.

Certification: MA‑C required

Experience: 2+ years (primary/urgent care preferred)

In this role, you’ll support providers, assist with clinical procedures, and help keep patient flow running smoothly. A Day in the Life

  • Room patients, take vital signs, and perform point‑of‑care testing

  • Administer immunizations, injections, and oral medications

  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and process lab specimens

  • Support patient education and care‑management needs

  • Prepare exam and procedure rooms using sterile technique

  • Assist with front‑office tasks (phones, scheduling, registration)

  • Maintain inventory and restock supplies

  • Document accurately in the EMR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards

  • Participate in team huddles, training, and quality‑improvement activities

  • Provide excellent customer service and teamwork

What You Bring

  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C)- Required

  • Graduate of an accredited MA program

  • 2+ years of MA experience (primary or urgent care preferred)

  • Strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skills

  • EMR documentation experience

  • CPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 days

  • Reliable attendance, strong communication, and ability to multitask

  • Team‑oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient‑centered care

Compensation Range

$23.00 – $29/hr Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, and qualifications.
