At Accenture Federal Services, our Summer Analyst (Intern) Program is designed for curious minds who want to dive into the world of technology, AI, and federal innovation. If you’re excited by the idea of solving real-world problems, learning new tools, and working side-by-side with project teams, this is your starting point.
As a Summer Analyst, you’ll gain hands-on exposure aligned to the three (3) core positions we’re hiring for in our analyst community:
- AI & Data Analyst: Dive into data analytics, machine learning, and intelligent automation. You’ll explore how we use tools like Python, SQL, and Power BI to uncover insights, optimize decisions, and deliver AI-powered solutions for federal agencies.
- Product & Platform Engineering Analyst: Get a taste of full-stack development, cloud-native engineering, and AI integration. You’ll work with modern frameworks, learn agile delivery, and help build secure, scalable systems that support mission-critical operations.
- Technology Analyst: Explore how we help federal clients adopt emerging technologies, apply structured thinking, and deliver innovative solutions. You’ll learn how to analyze business needs, experiment with next-gen IT, and contribute to digital transformation efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with project teams to solve real-world client problems within federal missions
- Translate business and mission objectives into technology‑driven strategies and solutions
- Experiment with emerging technologies, frameworks, and approaches—including agentic AI and modern development tools
- Apply structured thinking, creativity, and analysis to develop recommendations and impactful solutions
- Contribute to software engineering, data analysis, or technology advisory tasks depending on project alignment
- Participate in learning experiences, mentorship opportunities, workshops, and networking across AFS
- Support digital transformation efforts through research, testing, documentation, and solution design
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a rising senior/4th year undergraduate student, with graduation by August 31, 2028.
- Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4-year accredited institution.
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (Systems, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Cybersecurity, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Liberal Arts, or STEM with demonstrated interest or coursework in data analytics, information systems, coding, or digital tools
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
