Mid-Level Litigation Associate

Location: San Francisco, CA

Salary Range: $250,000 – $280,000


A leading California full-service law firm is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its San Francisco office. The practice represents startups, established businesses, and Fortune 500 companies in sophisticated and complex litigation matters.

The role offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to experienced litigators, and a clear path for long-term advancement, including partnership potential.


Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex litigation matters from initial pleadings through resolution

• Draft motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive filings

• Manage discovery and contribute to overall case strategy

• Work directly with clients on sophisticated business disputes

• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation


Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of complex litigation experience

• Current California Bar admission required

• Experience with a law firm handling sophisticated commercial litigation

• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of matters

• Must reside in California or be actively relocating to California
