Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1890 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Adult critical care experience. High-volume busy ED with trauma experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are based on a point system and dependent on staffing. Uses Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 BiPAP, Bellavista on the way, Vapotherm, and Airvo for high flow. Respiratory patients throughout all areas of the hospital, including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma. Pediatric patients are stabilized in the ED and transported to the sister hospital.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as required by facility. Call as required by facility.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
