Food Service Worker

Our client, a leading food service and hospitality provider, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the Food Services Department supporting kitchen operations and resident meal services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker
Location: Machias, NY
Pay Range: $18-22/hour
Schhedule: Varies days & includes weekends. Either 6am-2pm or 2pm-8pm

What’s the Job?

• Assist with food and meal preparation while maintaining food safety standards.
• Serve meals to residents and support daily meal service operations.
• Record temperatures, maintain meal records, and assist with daily reports.
• Perform light food preparation, including making salads, beverages, cookies, and other items.
• Complete kitchen and dining area cleanup, including putting away orders, cleaning tables, and taking out trash.

What’s Needed?

• Food Service Certificate a plus
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently under pressure.
• Availability to work varying schedules, including weekends
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
