Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the food chemistry industry, is seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist to join their 2nd Shift team. As an Associate Analytical Chemist, you will be part of a dynamic laboratory environment supporting innovative testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Associate Analytical Chemist
Location: Madison, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift -- 2pm - 10:30pm
Pay Range: $21/hr + Shift Differential = $22.89/hr
What's the Job?
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
- Conducts routine analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
- Uses laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
- Participates in project meetings and performs peer review of data.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (laboratory experience may be substituted for a degree).
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials and exposure to potential food allergens.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan assigned workload effectively.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
