B/C-Level Automotive Technicians | Up to $45/hr | M-F - 2545
S & C Automotive
Location: Batavia, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
B-Level Pay: $35–$45/hour / C-Level Pay: $20–$25/hour
Pay Type: Hourly / Pay Schedule: Weekly
Spend More Time Turning Wrenches
S & C Automotive is hiring experienced B-Level and C-Level Automotive Technicians.
Technicians are not responsible for ordering parts or preparing estimates, allowing them to focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
Workload & Shop Setup
- 60% Post Office fleet repairs
- 35% Domestic vehicle work
- 5% European vehicle maintenance
- Warehouse-style facility with one bay door
- Seven vehicle lifts
- Flat-work space for up to four additional vehicles
- Steady workflow with room to keep multiple jobs moving
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair light-duty vehicles
- Perform engine and transmission repairs and replacements
- Complete general maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Complete Post Office fleet and Domestic vehicle repairs
- Perform European vehicle maintenance as assigned
- Complete flat-work repairs and maintenance
Qualifications
- Automotive diagnostic and drivability experience
- Engine, transmission, electrical, and general repair experience
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work
- ASE certifications preferred
- B-Level Technician: 5+ years of automotive repair experience
- C-Level Technician: 3+ years of automotive repair experience
