We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to capture optimal images.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings.
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
Stay current with continuing education and certifications.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
ARDMS certification (or eligibility) in one or more specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular).
State licensure (if applicable).
CPR/BLS certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Per diem, various evening hours
Salary Range: $46.55/hr - $51.205/hr
