Lead the teaching of the on-site corporate training program; assist in identifying the learning objectives of the company’s program and assist in the development of a curriculum for the overall training program of the company.
- Follow the guidelines and schedule for the training of new technicians and salespeople, including the general week of classroom training, the week of specialized pest control training and the week of specialized termite control training.
- Work in the field with technicians and salespeople during non-scheduled classroom time.
- Reinforce learning of all employees by selecting and utilizing training material and media.
- Provide feedback to management concerning comprehension of employees and effectiveness of training.
- Prepare training and resource materials by identifying purpose and assembling and composing information.
- Provide technical support for all employees in the field.
- Contribute to team effort by performing any other duties deemed necessary by the Director of Training.
- Saturday and evening work may be required at times
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; related advanced degree preferred
- Previous experience in a training position preferred
- Proven ability to effectively teach others
- Excellent interpersonal and observational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
