Bilingual Dental Assistant – Cross-Trained / Growth Opportunity
Pay: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience and skills
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and professional Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has dental assisting experience, and is flexible and interested in being cross-trained to support both the clinical and front-office sides of the practice as needed.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
- Sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Taking digital X-rays and other clinical duties within your qualifications
- Providing excellent patient care and communication
- Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinical area
- Assisting the front office when needed
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Answering phones and communicating professionally with patients
- Learning insurance verification, treatment coordination, and other front-office responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the entire dental team
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, organized, and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment
- Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
- Interested in learning and being cross-trained in both front and back office
- Previous front-office dental experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Experience with dental software is a plus
