Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Licensed PT in PA or Compact PT Licensure required
• EPIC experience required

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement: as needed
• Holiday requirement: expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays, or 1 of 2 if the assignment falls over only 2 holidays
• Patient volume may exceed 8 scheduled patients per day
• Schedulers create staff schedules
• Manager interview required
• Maximum requested time off: 7 days

Location Highlights

Chambersburg offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel corridors in south-central Pennsylvania. Caledonia State Park is about 12 miles east of the city, and Michaux State Forest spans more than 85,000 acres nearby for hiking, biking, and scenic drives. Downtown Chambersburg features the Capitol Theatre and Memorial Square, while Interstate 81 provides direct north-south access to Harrisburg in about 1.5 hours and the Maryland border in under 30 minutes. For weekend trips, Gettysburg National Military Park is roughly 30 miles away, and Whitetail Resort sits about 15 miles south for skiing and mountain activities.
