Facilities Maintenance Assistant I

Our client, in the industrial and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Maintenance - I (Assistant) to join their team. As a Maintenance - I (Assistant), you will be part of the Facilities Operations & Maintenance department supporting site maintenance and repair activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $20.65

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 8

What's the Job?

• Perform facilities maintenance and repairs across the site to ensure optimal operation.
• Coordinate and monitor facilities-related work, including external contractors, to ensure timely completion.
• Support projects and site outages that impact site facilities, maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
• Assist with audit preparation, on-site support, and post-audit responses for facilities-related findings.
• Support pest control programs, elevator, and motorized door repairs, including vendor coordination and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 1 year experience in facilities maintenance and repairs in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of facility systems and preventive maintenance principles.
• Experience working in a regulated, audit-intensive, or quality-driven environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors to execute repairs effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
