Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1600 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Required Credentials: - Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80% with only two attempts permitted. - Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.

Unit Details: - Stroke and urology unit.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
