Full job description

A 36-week opportunity for a School Speech Language Pathologist located near Live Oak, Texas. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits while enabling you to make a meaningful impact in student education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting

  • Supervise and collaborate with SLP Assistants to support student progress and intervention strategies

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

  • Communicate with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student needs and progress

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Supervise SLP Assistants across multiple schools, managing caseloads of approximately 80, 65, and 30 students

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or an equivalent

  • State licensure as an SLP

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP in school settings, with supervision skills for SLP Assistants

Preferred Skills:

  • NBCSL or ASHA Certification
