Engineering Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking an ENG Technician II to join their team. As an Engineering Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Medical Systems department supporting engineering and technical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Laboratory Technician

Location: San Antonio, Texas (100% on site)

Pay Range:$20 to $22
Duration: till December 15, 2026

What's the Job?

• Work with electrical and mechanical devices, hardware, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform circuit board testing and troubleshooting to ensure product quality.
• Test and validate new software on devices by following established test protocols and procedures.
• Measure and monitor performance factors such as temperature and environmental conditions.
• Assist with device assembly, repair, and mechanical disassembly for analysis and testing.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
• 2+ years experience testing electronic devices, embedded systems, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail in a regulated environment.
• Ability to follow detailed test plans and protocols accurately.
