How will you make an impact?

The Safety Coordinator provides administrative and technical support for the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance documentation, managing safety records, coordinating training activities, supporting audits and inspections, tracking corrective actions, and assisting with regulatory reporting requirements.

 

What will you do? 

• Maintain and organize EHS policies, procedures, programs, and records.
• Manage document control for safety-related procedures, forms, and training materials.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy compliance records.
• Assist with updating and communicating EHS policies and procedures.

• Schedule, track, and document employee safety training requirements.
• Maintain training matrices and ensure certifications remain current.
• Coordinate onboarding safety requirements.
• Generate reports on training compliance and completion rates.

• Maintain OSHA logs, injury records, and other required compliance documentation.
• Support preparation of regulatory reports and submissions.
• Assist with the administration of site compliance programs including hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, emergency response, and contractor safety.

• Coordinate internal and external EHS audits.

 

Education: 

• Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Business Administration, Human Resources, Environmental Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience: 

• 2+ years of administrative, compliance, safety, HR, or EHS support experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with EHS management systems or compliance software.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Business Administration, or related field.
