The Opportunity

Join Core Diagnostics as the Senior Manager, Division Headquarters FP&A, where you will play a critical role in shaping executive financial communications, driving strategic decision-making, and supporting senior leadership across the division. This highly visible leadership position partners closely with divisional executives, oversees key planning and reporting processes, manages headquarters financial activities, and leads a team of finance professionals to deliver insightful, accurate, and impactful financial analysis.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead the development of executive-level financial presentations and reporting for divisional leadership, Corporate leadership, quarterly business reviews, and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling business insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage Division Headquarters operating budgets, including headcount, payroll, IT expenses, and division-wide capital planning activities.
  • Provide financial leadership and governance for division-wide IT investments, spending, and business cases.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and Abbott financial policies.
  • Support Latest Best Estimate (LBE) planning, consolidation activities, and analysis of R&D and SG&A spending.
  • Respond to executive-level and ad hoc financial requests with urgency, accuracy, and business-focused solutions.
  • Oversee the Lessor Accounting function, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and managing global headquarters accounting and planning responsibilities.
  • Communicate accounting policy updates, financial forecasts, and actual results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Partner across finance, business units, and corporate functions to identify best practices and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance.
  • Support Corporate Tax and other cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
  • Experience managing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing financial models and evaluating multiple business scenarios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading teams and developing finance talent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA and/or MBA.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations for executive leadership and C-suite audiences.
  • Experience supporting divisional, corporate, or global finance organizations.
  • Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting requirements and lessor accounting processes.
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Hyperion, TM1, and Power BI.
  • Background in strategic planning, investment analysis, and business performance management.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large datasets, complex reporting structures, and multinational organizations.
  • Prior experience partnering with IT organizations and managing technology-related budgets and investments.

The base pay for this position is

$129,300.00 – $258,700.00
