Texas EMS Medical Director

Step beyond the traditional Emergency Department and lead clinical care across a growing statewide EMS operation.

An employee-owned organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to provide clinical leadership for approximately 1,300 frontline providers and 1,000 patient transports each day.

This full-time leadership opportunity offers:
Statewide clinical influence and meaningful operational impact
An established physician, APP, and quality-support structure
Leadership across multiple major Texas markets
Collaboration with hospitals and Regional Advisory Councils
Vehicle allowance, fuel card, and paid business travel
A potential transition period from current ED shifts
Qualified candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Five to ten years of active clinical experience and prior EMS exposure are preferred; EMS fellowship training is not required.

The ideal physician is an approachable, energetic leader with strong Texas relationships who enjoys supporting frontline teams, improving patient care, and navigating a fast-paced clinical environment.
