The Role:
The Quality Technician for Panel Test is responsible for inspecting and verifying electrical control panels, assemblies, and related products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, company standards, and applicable UL/IEC standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction through detailed inspections and testing.
This position is located in La Vergne, Tennessee.

The Role:
The Quality Technician for Panel Test is responsible for inspecting and verifying electrical control panels, assemblies, and related products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, company standards, and applicable UL/IEC standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction through detailed inspections and testing.
This position is located in La Vergne, Tennessee.
- Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical control panels and assemblies. -
Verify panel construction against electrical schematics, bill of materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. -
Inspect wire routing, labeling, termination quality, torque requirements, and component placement. - Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including UL508A, customer specifications, and company workmanship standards.
- Conduct electrical testing, including continuity checks, point-to-point verification, insulation resistance testing, dielectric testing, and functional testing as required.
- Verify correct installation of circuit protection devices, relays, PLCs, HMIs, terminals, and control components.
- Identify, document, and report nonconformances using established quality procedures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality concerns and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
