Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate who thrives in a fast-paced specialty practice and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Experience in a vascular, vein, surgical, or other specialty practice is preferred; however, candidates with strong outpatient clinical experience are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients with a friendly smile, prepare patients for examination including taking vital signs and documenting EMR chart with patient concerns, and symptoms
- Assist Providers with patient treatments
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement
- Assist with scheduling of requested testing and labs
- Ensure safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Prepare solutions for injections
- Complies with Policies and Procedures, and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- BLS Certification (desired)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Polite and professional attitude with patients and co-workers
- Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly
- Good time management
- Must be a team player
- Strong attention to detail
