Essential Job Functions
- Lead strategic sourcing for key raw material categories across US sites, with opportunities to support broader regional and global initiatives
- Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting to optimize total cost of ownership and supply reliability
- Develop and execute category strategies that improve quality, service, innovation, and sustainability performance
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify supply risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure continuity of supply
- Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation through structured sourcing and negotiation activities
- Build strong, collaborative supplier relationships, including performance management and continuous improvement
- Champion sustainability, compliance, and ESG initiatives across the supplier base
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management within a manufacturing environment
- 5 years + experience in chemicals/direct materials
- Experience working in regulated industries and complex supply chains preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
- Confident communicator with a results‑driven, resilient, and improvement‑focused mindset
The expected salary range for this role is 130,000 $- 160,000 $, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.

Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.
Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.
