Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you’ll support patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries in a leading inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility activities, carefully monitoring and documenting their progress. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team, educate patients and families on home programs and safety, and help maintain a safe, well-equipped treatment environment.
