Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access control concerns, and potential security-related incidents, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• A 40 Caliber Endorsement is required.
• A California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
