About the Position
TransForce is hiring full-time local CDL A drivers in Port Wentworth, GA. This position offers $27 per hour, steady home time, and excellent benefits.
Pay & Schedule Details
Pay Rate: $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5 AM - 7 AM start time (Saturday work required as needed)
Job Details
Route Type: Local home daily, with potential routes to Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina
Freight: No-touch freight
Equipment: Manual transmission required
Daily Hours: 8 to 10 hours a day with rotating Saturdays
Loads: 2-3 per day
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Ensure timely delivery of freight
Maintain accurate logs and records
Minimum Requirements
~4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
~ Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
~ Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
~ CDL A license with manual transmission experience required
~ Valid TWIC Card required
~ Stable work history
