Responsibilities:

General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Full-time, 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday, daytime hours

Will support the operating room, procedural areas, and perioperative screening.  Will care for patients across the lifespan, from infants through older adults, and help teams deliver safe, coordinated same-day surgical care.  Assignment may change based on the needs of each site, and travel between assigned locations is required. Sound clinical judgment, flexibility, and strong communication skills, ability to work well with different teams, will need to  maintain competencies across assigned clinical areas and sites.  Two years of perioperative nursing experience in the operating room and/or moderate sedation required.
