JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages daily operations and case flow with the Board Runner, CRNA Lead, Lead Anesthesiologist, and OR leadership; communicates with the Anesthesia Scheduler.
- Owns real-time scheduling execution: manages on-site/on-demand schedule changes, coverage gaps, call-outs, and last-minute adjustments; coordinates with the CET on scheduling updates and performs hands-on QGenda entry directly when CET turnaround would create a coverage risk.
- Oversees distribution of call, weekend, and after-hours coverage.
- Maintains PTO, CME, vacation, and leave tracking, and monitors timely approvals.
- Tracks each provider's year-to-date shifts/hours against their contracted annual minimum, ensuring call-outs are backfilled so coverage commitments are met; proactively flags and escalates providers who are falling behind on their annual minimum.
- Maintains relationships with OR, nursing, and hospital administration; meets weekly to discuss OR operations and supports continuous improvement initiatives with OR/hospital leadership.
- Attends perioperative meetings (OR Governance, Block Committee, etc.).
- Holds anesthesia meetings in conjunction with the Medical Director/Chief.
- Supports provider onboarding, credentialing, payroll, and administrative support on the ground.
- Secures coverage via internal providers, premium shifts, and locums as needed.
- Creates and monitors facility metrics and reports trends.
- Serves as the first escalation point for day-to-day operational issues.
- Provides onsite support for administrative oversight of compliance requirements (TB documentation, HR compliance, and communication of policy changes at the local level, etc.).
- Any other special projects or duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong operational judgment with the ability to make sound, real-time decisions under pressure, particularly for coverage gaps and scheduling conflicts.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clinical leadership (CRNAs, Anesthesiologists, Medical Director/Chief) and hospital/OR administration.
- Proactive planning and timely execution of duties, while remaining responsive and available for on-demand scheduling and coverage needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with providers, hospital leadership, regional operations leaders, and staff at all levels.
- Working knowledge of credentialing, payroll support processes, and provider onboarding requirements.
- Comfortable working within facility metrics, reporting tools, and basic scheduling/staffing systems.
- Understanding of compliance basics (e.g., TB documentation tracking) and ability to communicate policy changes clearly at the local level.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on growth strategies, specifically for procedural services, and ensuing the availability and alignment of anesthesia resources to support the growth.

EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma, required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field, preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three+ years of healthcare operations, practice management, or facility administration experience.
- Anesthesia, surgical services, or perioperative experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with provider scheduling, staffing coordination, or call coverage management preferred.

- Onsite at assigned facility location(s) - Tyler and Longview, TX
Pay Range:
83,645.00 - 123,816.00 USD annuallyThis range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
