What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to support safe and reliable operations.
- Accurately complete delivery tickets, driver logs, and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to ensure quality service.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction at all times.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a safe driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in varying conditions.
- Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible decision-making.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required documentation, and manage delivery schedules.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
