The Security Operations Specialist supports global security operations by monitoring facilities, managing access control and security systems, and responding to alarms and incidents in real time. The role coordinates communications, emergency response, access requests, and security activities across global locations while maintaining accurate documentation and situational awareness. This position plays a critical role in protecting people, facilities, and business operations through proactive monitoring, rapid response, and effective coordination.

 

What You Will Do 

·        Monitor global facilities through CCTV, access control, alarms, and building automation systems.

·        Conduct routine facility patrols, verify critical doors and layouts, and identify safety and security hazards.

·        Perform preventative maintenance checks and support compliance audits.

·        Document shift activities, incidents, patrol findings, and service tickets; escalate high-risk issues to Global Security Supervisors.

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications via phone, email, radio, intercoms, and vehicle gates.

·        Operate physical security systems to monitor alarms, document responses, and maintain accurate incident and patrol records.

·        Conduct system health checks and report security equipment deficiencies.

·        Manage the SOC mailbox and complete daily operational tasks.

·        Support badge printing, credential assignment, account creation, and access management.

·        Operate visitor management systems to ensure contractor and visitor compliance.

·        Provide after-hours support for IT inquiries and operational requests.

·        Coordinate emergency response activities with on-site response teams and emergency services.

·        Respond to medical and facility emergencies, including injuries and life-safety incidents.

·        Monitor severe weather and emerging threats, providing timely alerts and ongoing updates.

·        Monitor global and regional news and intelligence to identify events that may impact personnel, facilities, or operations.

·        Maintain clear communication and coordination throughout incidents until resolution.

 

What You Will Bring 

·        Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree. 

·        Experience: 1-3 years in security operations 

·        Skills: Proficient with varies security technology platforms such as access control, CCTV, and incident reporting software. Strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft office suite. Ability to make sound, rational decisions and prioritize tasks effectively while working under pressure. Customer Service focused, developing relationships by listening and understanding the customer (both internal and external). Anticipates and provides solutions and alternatives to customer needs, giving high priority to customer satisfaction Strong observational and analytical skills to detect and investigate security events.

·        Licenses and Certifications: Driver’s License (valid and in state) Required, First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred

Shift Hours: 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday and Friday-Saturday 11pm – 11am
