Full job description
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Work with APIGEE Runtime Management for API deployment, monitoring, and management.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipeline setup, integration, and deployment processes.
- Integrate applications with cloud platforms and enterprise messaging systems.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Follow Agile development practices, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance, integration, and production issues.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Good understanding of APIGEE Runtime Management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, security, and scalability.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of MQ / enterprise messaging systems.
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
- AWS certification is preferred but not required.
