SummaryResponsible for setting up and operating a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Configuring the equipment, loading and operating machine optimizing the machine capability.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Press dual control buttons and move control to start, stop or adjust machinery and equipment.
- Handling and moving objects using hands and arms in handling, installing, position and moving materials.
- Utilize control mechanisms and direct physical activity to operate machines.
- Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Operate conveyors or other industrial material moving equipment
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or combination of education and experience.
- OTJ, previous experience in a factory/plant/warehouse a plus
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities - Ability to complete repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to have control precision
- Has great reaction time
- Attention to detail
Language Skills Ability to communicate and understand both written and verbal instruction
Mathematical Skills - Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
